Interesting quote by Welch & Jackson (2007)

Hi Guys,

Just found another interesting line in one of the articles I am reading. Please feel free to comment on it:

"While there is recognition that internal communication has an identity, it is seen as being integrated with external communication (p. 180)."
Correct reference:

WELCH (Mary) & JACKSON (Paul R.). Rethinking Internal Communication: A Stakeholder Approach. In: Corporate Communications: An International Journal, 2007, Vol. 12, No. 2, pp. 177-198.

Do you agree?

  • Does internal communication has an identity of its own?
  • Are the boundaries between internal communication and external communication really blurring?
Cheers,

Mark
